Position Summary: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to provide essential system support to our clientele. In this role, you will engage with Development teams and other technical stakeholders to sustain, enhance, and support both legacy and modern enterprise products within an Agile SAFe framework. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with software engineering to deploy and manage systems, automate operational tasks, optimize processes, and resolve issues across various environments. Become part of a distinguished organization and collaborate with talented professionals in the Government Contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate software deployments, establish cloud infrastructure baselines, and guarantee the operational readiness of production systems.
  • Oversee, construct, configure, administer, operate, and maintain all elements of the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Define and implement enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodologies and best practices.
  • Embed DevOps best practices throughout the organization.
  • Create and sustain scripts for automating tool deployment to AWS cloud and other operational tasks.
  • Script and manage build environments effectively.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate their solutions into the DevOps framework.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in configuring tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting issues related to tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
  • Experience working within a software development team supporting developers and their initiatives.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
  • Master's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 13+ years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering field.
  • AWS Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or Sys Ops Administrator).
  • AWS Professional Certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/ECR.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
