**Job Summary**
The Associate Nurse Manager in the CT ICU at UCHealth is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in enhancing patient safety and quality outcomes. This role involves overseeing unit operations, staff evaluation, and the implementation of care standards while actively developing staff through mentorship and education.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Nurse Manager in enhancing patient safety and quality outcomes
- Oversee unit operations, including staff evaluation and development
- Implement care standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement plans to improve patient throughput and reduce length of stay
- Collaborate with the CNS/Educator to meet the educational needs of the unit(s)
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 3 years of experience in related clinical areas
- ACLS certification
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
