Job Title: Banquet Server

SGA Talent is a hospitality-focused staffing group based in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are seeking experienced Banquet Servers to work events in the Capital Region, including Vermont.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process orders, bills, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and organize drinks and glassware to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Attend to guests and address their inquiries and needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with bar staff to ensure the availability of all beverages.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the cocktail bar and other work areas to meet health and safety standards.
  • Comply with applicable health code, dress code, and other serving standards.
Requirements:
  • Prior relevant experience is required to excel in this role.
  • The ability to carry full-service trays holding 8-10 dinners is essential.
  • Knowledge of operational policies in health and safety, liquor licensing, food hygiene, and emergency procedures is necessary.
  • Outstanding communication skills are required to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate processing of orders and payments.
  • Able to work late-night shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to walk and stand for long hours, with regular breaks to maintain physical well-being.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
