Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy clinical operations, ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Medical Director, Nurse Manager, and Office Manager to deliver high-quality medical and pharmaceutical services.
- Act as a vital pharmaceutical resource for all clinical staff, promoting safety and adherence to best practices.
- Supervise staff pharmacists in their responsibilities related to drug control, labeling, and providing accurate information on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Ensure the security and safety of all prescription drugs and controlled substances within the pharmacy, while maintaining compliance with 340B regulations.
- Receive general supervision from the Director of Pharmacy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is preferred.
- Licensure: Must possess an active pharmacy license in the state of practice, in good standing with the MD Board of Pharmacy.
- Certifications: MTM certification and Certified Immunizer Certification are preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in pharmacy management is required.
