Overview: The Circulation Library Assistant plays a vital role in delivering essential support within the Circulation department of the Library. Key responsibilities encompass managing the check-in and check-out processes for library materials, processing fines, organizing and shelving items, and providing assistance to patrons with basic reference inquiries.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a library setting or relevant educational background
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical capability to operate equipment and lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Completion of a criminal background check is mandatory
