Job Overview

IQUASAR LLC is seeking a highly skilled Deployable Electrical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, MD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying to OCONUS locations, supporting technical intelligence missions, and conducting electronic analyses of target devices.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced engineer with expertise in RF communications, electronics engineering, and benchtop RF equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RF circuits, extensive experience in electronics engineering, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deployable Operations: Be available and willing to deploy to OCONUS locations, including Kuwait and Iraq, for up to 6 months at a time, rotating with other deployers.
  • Technical Intelligence Support: Support technical intelligence (TECHINT), media exploitation (MEDEX), cell phone exploitation (CELLEX), electronic exploitation (ELEX), and other unique exploitation missions.
  • Electronic Analyses: Conduct electronic analyses of target devices, including functional analyses, signal characterization, and vulnerability assessments.
  • RF Characterization: Serve as a subject matter expert in RF characterization, publishing reports and briefings to present characterization information and exploitation recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with a team to respond to RFI's and determine best-consolidated solutions to problems.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering and 3 years of experience; or associate's degree and 8 years of experience in related fields required.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in electronics engineering, RF communications, and benchtop RF equipment.
  • Skills: Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, ability to handle and prioritize many tasks in a fast-paced environment, and good written and oral communication skills.

  • Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
