MRI Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
