We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer 1 / Entry Level to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct civil design tasks including grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, and utility design as required by various projects.
  • Prepare applications, reports, and calculations to support the design of diverse project types such as retail centers, multi-family developments, educational institutions, industrial sites, and mixed-use developments.
  • The Civil Engineer 1 will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating drawings provided by vendors, clients, and architects.
  • Research relevant codes and collaborate with City, County, and State officials.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, project site visits, or other business-related activities.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification is not mandatory but is encouraged.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.
  • The Civil Engineer 1 must possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • A self-motivated, collaborative team player with a willingness to engage in a variety of project types.
  • Experience related to site development is preferred but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
