Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Allied Universal® in Downtown, FL. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security services to our clients, ensuring the safety and security of people and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Operations: Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site, ensuring that all security protocols are followed and that the site is provided with high-quality security services.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors, including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, ensuring that all areas are secure and that any potential security risks are identified and addressed.
Requirements
  • Security License: Must possess a valid Florida Security License (D License and G License).
  • Security Experience: Must have at least 3 years of security experience.
  • Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods, work in all elements of the weather, and possess the ability to use a computer or tablet.
