Job Summary:

The Audiologist I provides comprehensive audiological services to children from birth to 21 years of age. Reporting to the Audiology Clinic Manager and Practice Administrator, this role involves differential diagnosis of auditory function, therapeutic interventions, and educational support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of auditory function in infants, preschoolers, and children with complex hearing needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address hearing and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Audiology or Audiology Clinical Doctorate.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in pediatric Audiology, with 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • California Audiology Dispensing License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Skilled in counseling families and sensitive to people and situations.
  • Thorough knowledge of pediatric Audiology and child development issues.
  • Hands-on experience with electrophysiological techniques.
Technical Requirements:
  • Basic proficiency with PC's and prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to hear alarms, clients, and/or instruction. The ability to see accurately from 20 inches to 20-ft is also necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
