Job Summary:

SELECTEMP Employment Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the daily sanitation of the facility and machinery used to produce product.
  • Run the dishwashing machine and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Wash pots, pans, buckets, and trays by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
  • Disassemble manufacturing lines and clean and sanitize parts and equipment.
  • Sweep and mop floors and wash and sanitize equipment.
  • Pressure wash equipment using an industrial pressure washer.
  • Follow and improve area processes and understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that pertain to your area.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Sanitation experience of some kind is required.
  • Aware of empowerment to act to resolve Food Safety issues within the scope of work.
  • Conform to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Must understand Allergens and must understand and follow all GMP, SQF, HAACP, BBP, and Food Defense policies.
  • Able to speak and read English.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be available to work assigned shifts and be flexible with any extended hours due to production needs changes.

Work Environment:

  • Temp-Hire position.
  • Monday-Friday, 6pm-til the work is completed, typically working anywhere from 8-12 hours.
  • $19.00 per hour for NIGHTS ($2.50/hr differential).
