Sanitation Job Description

QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Sanitation professional to join our team. As a Sanitation worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and facility, including proper use of chemicals at proper amounts
  • Operate and wash down of processing equipment
  • Sweep and wash floors
  • Maintain clean work area and monitor equipment and facility for cleanliness issues
  • Demonstrate commitment to food safety and continuous improvement
  • Follow company guidelines, rules, safety, FDA, and GMP policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Able to stand or walk for duration of shift
  • Able to kneel, crouch and reach throughout shift
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to focus
  • Able to walk up and down stairs and stationary permanent ladder
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Able to add and subtract 2 digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step directions
