We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Powers Health. As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and performing initial microscopic examinations of human body fluids and products to detect evidence of cancer and/or other pathologist abnormalities. Your duties will include performing related clerical duties, maintaining cytology slides and cellular interpretation files, and performing and maintaining cytology Quality Assurance activities. You will also be responsible for performing all moderate and highly complex clinical procedures utilizing sophisticated instrumentation to prepare and screen all cytologic material.
Requirements:
A BS/BA degree is required, along with graduation from an approved School of Cytotechnology. CT/SCT (ASCP) or equivalent certification is also required.
