About the Role

Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team. As a clinical audiologist, you will provide services for the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation, and rehabilitation to patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic audiology tests and rehabilitative services
  • Conduct audiological assessments, vestibular assessments, cochlear implant assessments, immittance, otoacoustic emissions, and evoked potentials
  • Provide rehabilitative services, including cochlear implant programming, hearing instrument recommendations, selection and fittings, aural rehabilitation, and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo
Requirements
  • Must meet minimum education requirements for licensure in the state of practice, with a Doctorate of Audiology degree preferred
  • National certification in Audiology required (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, ABA Certification, or equivalent)
  • Basic Life Support certification and Hearing Aid Dispensing license may be required depending on practice location and applicable state laws
