Job Description: Production Supervisor


At AquaPhoenix Scientific LLC, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for directly supervising production employees to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations within our manufacturing and production processes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise production employees to ensure adherence to company and customer standards
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of production life-cycle processes
  • Track results using necessary software programs
  • Attend and participate in production and planning meetings
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Process production documentation and/or reports accurately
  • Coach, train, discipline, motivate, and manage hourly manufacturing employees
  • Promote and maintain positive employee relations and a quality working environment
  • Develop and monitor production workflow
  • Monitor production schedule to accomplish manufacturing goals
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the production group
  • Identify training opportunities and create plans for implementation
  • Perform annual performance appraisals and manage time and attendance

Requirements:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or Trade/Technical School Certification preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing knowledge and understanding of operations procedures and best practices
  • Sound math and analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to follow and clearly provide instructions
