Responsibilities:

* Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
* Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
* Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations.
* Conduct screenings and provide consultations as needed.
* Stay updated with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
* Provide training and support to school staff on speech and language development.

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Florida state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
* Certification from the Florida Department of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists.
* Knowledge of IDEA and state and federal regulations governing special education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
