Job Title: Certified Automotive State Inspector

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified automotive state inspector to join our team at Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by performing state specified inspections on vehicles, ensuring their safety and emissions compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, including safety and emissions checks.
  • Gather and input guest and maintenance information into our computer system.
  • Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, and previous services to provide personalized recommendations to our guests.
  • Communicate additional services requested to our team and gather necessary items/parts for installation/service.
  • Review invoiced items with guests, accept payment, and inform them of value-added items and offer invitations for return visits.
  • May be required to perform inspections at other locations within a 10/15-mile radius of our home store location.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and teammates.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
