We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Technician to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 24 operating rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during operative procedures, maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive surgical experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
- National certification in surgical technology or equivalent experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
