Responsibilities- Personal Care Assistant: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
- Medication Administration: Ensure clients receive their medication on time.
- Transfer and Mobility: Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
- Meal Preparation and Service: Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to resident, and other dining related responsibilities; record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor.
- Condition Monitoring: Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor, including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.
- Vital Signs and Bath Schedules: Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc).
- Incident Reporting: Immediately report all incidents or accidents involving residents to the supervisor.
- Emergency Response: Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.
- Senior Living Experience: Must have senior living experience.
- Proven Caregiver Experience: Proven experience as a Caregiver.
- Med Tech Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Med Tech (if interested in Med tech position).
- CPR Certification: Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR certification.
- Language Skills: Speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Health and Safety: Committed to health & safety.
- Housekeeping and Cooking: Able to do housework and cooking.
- Organization and Reliability: Well-organized and reliable.
- Communication and People Skills: Excellent communication and people skills.
- Positive Attitude: A positive and compassionate attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Physical stamina.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
