POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverage orders for patrons following precise recipes and utilizing measurement techniques. You will manage the opening and serving of wine and champagne bottles, while ensuring the bar area, tables, and equipment are kept in pristine condition. Additionally, you will prepare fresh garnishes and maintain stock levels of ice, glassware, and supplies.
Responsibilities include washing used glassware, clearing soiled items from the bar and tables, and communicating supply needs effectively. You will handle various payment methods, balance cash at the end of your shift, complete necessary cashier reports, and address any discrepancies. Security of liquor, beer, wine, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas is also a key responsibility, along with fulfilling closing tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report incidents and unsafe conditions to management; participate in safety training and certification programs.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance in uniform, safeguard confidential information, and protect company assets.
- Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively address service needs, and express gratitude to guests sincerely.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
- Safely lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Engage in physical activities such as reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly demeanor.
- Be available for a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Complete other reasonable tasks as assigned by Supervisors.
