Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and the facility.

About the Role:

  • Maintain inventories for equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Keep technical skills sharp by attending workshops and reviewing industry materials.
  • Ensure a safe, clean environment by adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform routine and emergency repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
  • Manage spares inventory and initiate purchase orders for necessary parts.
  • Quickly respond to emergencies and follow established safety protocols.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment, including HVAC and production systems.
  • Collaborate with safety and EH&S programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance (ideally, with experience performing machine maintenance).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work extended hours, including weekends and on-call rotations.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance schedules.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
