About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Fresh Ideas.

Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food as needed in our fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation: Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Food Presentation: Weigh and measure designated ingredients, and carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
3. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures, and clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
4. Customer Service: Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment, serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service, and resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures, as well as all sanitation and safety requirements.
