Job Overview

South Plainfield Auto Wash LLC is seeking a dedicated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Automotive Maintenance Technician with a minimum of one year of experience in automotive services. The ideal candidate should be punctual, energetic, and hardworking, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service while effectively communicating and promoting services to clients.

Key Responsibilities -

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performing routine automotive preventative maintenance
  • Changing oil and filters, including other maintenance-related fluids
  • Managing transmission fluid changes
  • Handling coolant fluid services
  • Overseeing gear box and differential maintenance

Additional services may include:

  • Replacing wiper blades
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Headlight replacements
  • Tire rotations and minor tire repairs

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to work in both upper and lower bay positions
  • Sales experience
  • A positive attitude towards work
  • Flexibility and a customer-focused mindset
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Work Schedule and Compensation –

Work hours are from Thursday to Tuesday, with Wednesdays off. The schedule includes weekdays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 8 AM to 5 PM. Compensation includes an hourly rate, overtime, and commission.
