Job Opportunity

Pride Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to support our client's healthcare systems in Cambridge, MN. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension, offering a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team as a CT Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, operating CT equipment, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and positioning them correctly on the CT scanner table.
  • Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, monitoring patient conditions during scans, and making necessary adjustments for optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain safety standards by utilizing radiation protection techniques, shielding patients appropriately, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging findings accurately in medical records. Communicate findings to radiologists and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment to ensure functionality and report any issues for prompt repair.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, address patient concerns, and communicate effectively with patients throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

  • Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of Minnesota (CRT).
  • AART.
  • Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit.
  • At Least 2 year of previous CT scanning experience, experience with GE scanners preferred.
