Job Summary:

Hillandale Gettysburg LP is seeking an experienced Over the Road Delivery Driver to transport products to and from our locations in West Union, IA, and other states throughout the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain DOT regulated driver logs daily as required, either manually or electronically.
  • Transport products to and from Hillandale Farms locations, as well as other companies' products to those destinations as required.
  • Maintain all necessary paperwork for delivery of products to customers.
  • Unload products at customer locations and load returns, if applicable.
  • Operate an electric jack to maneuver products safely.
  • Repetitive pushing and pulling of full racks of eggs on Direct Store Delivery (DSD) runs.
  • Fold empty racks in trailers.
  • Keep vehicle fueled, neat, and clean at all times.
  • Be a safe and courteous driver at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A Driver's License.
  • 1 Year OTR Driving Experience - Less than 1 Year Would Onboard with a Hillandale Driver Trainer.
  • Current DOT Medical.
  • Acceptable Driving Record.
  • FMSCA Registered.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move 40-60lbs.
  • Position requires repetitive lifting, squatting, twisting, turning, kneeling, and bending.

  • Flexible Home Time Schedule.
  • Typical schedule is Sunday through Thursday / 1-2 nights a week on the road, although some weekends and holidays may be required.
