Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders. You will work closely with medical and other professional groups to provide expert consultation and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance to medical and other professional groups
  • Supervise and instruct student Speech Pathology Interns
  • Develop and implement remedial programs to restore or improve communicative efficiency
  • Write reports on diagnostic findings, therapy used, and progress made
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Ohio license obtained through the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology
  • Basic knowledge of specific neurological tests, neuroanatomy, and neurological diseases
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with computer applications
