Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a senior sonographer or physician.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
ARDMS or CCI registration or eligibility required; registration within one year of start date.
BLS certification within six months of hire.
Preferred qualifications include a formal training program in cardiac ultrasound and two years of experience.
