Job Summary
Catering to You Associate Rotating Shift FT is a dynamic role that requires a team player with excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient care through meal service. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and reviewing daily patient menus to ensure selections align with prescribed diets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver patient formulas, maintaining accurate records and interacting with nursing staff to ensure patient diet prescriptions are accurate.
- Assist Dietitian with monitoring patients on NPO, liquid diets, or calorie count orders, exhibiting a friendly and caring attitude towards patients.
- Operate hospital admission, discharge, and transfer systems, as well as other computer-based systems managing patient-care records.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of modified diet restrictions for patient meal preparation and meal services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior hospital food service experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Work Environment
This role is a full-time position with rotating shifts, requiring flexibility and adaptability. As a Catering to You Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, staff, and guests to provide exceptional service.
