Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and completing projects as directed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as experience working in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, and installations
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • On-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical systems
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
