Prestigious Healthcare Facility Seeking Skilled Ultrasound Technologist

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Position Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Utilize advanced ultrasound machinery to obtain images of patients' internal structures and tissues.
  • Patient Engagement: Clearly communicate procedures to patients, address their inquiries, and offer support throughout the imaging process.
  • Image Evaluation: Assess the quality of ultrasound images and select the appropriate ones for physician review and diagnosis.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with medical professionals to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various health conditions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment and examination rooms are properly maintained and sanitized.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document patient details and the procedures conducted.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Generally requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in sonography.
  • Certification: Relevant industry certification may be beneficial or mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and pathology, along with expertise in operating ultrasound devices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and patient care abilities.
  • Physical Endurance: Capability to lift heavy equipment and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field such as Cardiovascular Technology
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Ability to manage equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is available for immediate consideration.
