Position Overview:

The Assembly Operator plays a critical role in assembling cable and wire harnesses for the aerospace industry, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards. This position involves interpreting technical specifications and requirements to produce high-quality assemblies within established time frames. Assembly Operators are expected to minimize waste, maintain a stable workflow, and actively participate in continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble cable and wire harnesses for aerospace applications
• Interpret technical specifications and requirements
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
• Minimize waste and maintain a stable workflow
• Participate in continuous process improvements

Requirements:

• High degree of manual dexterity
• Basic math skills
• Reading comprehension
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of sitting and/or standing
• Minimal lifting of up to 30lbs
• Ability to read from the Graham-Field vision chart
• High degree of manual dexterity
