**Job Details:**

* Contract length: 13 weeks
* Job duties: Patient rooming, suture or staple removal, cast removal, wound checks, prescriptions, patient triage, calling in prescription refills
* Required certifications: BLS
* Common diagnosis/types of patients: Orthopedic injuries/joint replacement/hand surgery
* Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer ambulatory experience. Prefer orthopedic experience. Prefer Epic experience.

**Schedule Information:**

* Shifts & Scheduling: Mon-Fri 8a-5p, 30 min lunch; hours vary at times with earliest start time at 0730.
* Weekend Requirement: None
* Holiday Requirement: None
* Is there a call or standby requirement: No
* Floating Requirements: Possibly to other clinics within medical office building

**Unit Specific Information:**

* Unit: Sports Medicine Sun Valley
* Number of beds/rooms: 10 exam rooms
* Average number of providers in the clinic/day: 2 to 3
* Required Certifications: BLS
* Manager/Supervisor on each shift: [Sensitive Information Removed]
* How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 3 to 5 shifts with preceptor; always resources available

**Additional Details:**

* Number of beds/rooms: 10 exam rooms
* Average number of providers in the clinic/day: 2 to 3
* Average number of patients/day: 50
* Do you use Medical Assistants or CNA's: MAs
* EMR: EPIC
* Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs- any color
* Orientation: How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 3 to 5 shifts with preceptor; always resources available
* Critical Access Hospital; medical building is next to the Hospital; mountain town- known for its skiing and other outdoor activities; they get a lot of tourist.
* This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
