Traveling RN Position

Position Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Appropriate licensure for the state in which the RN practices and relevant certifications for the role and facility.
Minimum of one year of prior nursing experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills
Current CPR certification
Annual health assessment
Responsibilities and Knowledge:
Ability to apply the nursing process in delivering patient care, which includes administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies, interpreting diagnostic results, developing care plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and/or their families (in compliance with HIPAA).
The RN must exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care suitable for patients across all age demographics.
Must demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles throughout the lifespan, possess the capability to assess data indicative of the patient's condition, and interpret the necessary information to identify each patient's needs based on age.
Accurate documentation of observations and other relevant data concerning the patient's clinical status is essential.Properly and accurately chart observations and activities related to patient care.
Communicate pertinent information to appropriate healthcare personnel in line with hospital protocols.
Execute all required and related duties.
Physical Demands:
The individual may need to assist in repositioning patients, lift supplies, set up equipment, and maneuver beds or chairs throughout the facility.
The individual must be capable of bending to perform specific tasks and navigate the facility in response to emergencies.
Interpretation of environmental stimuli necessitates visual and auditory capabilities.In case of an evacuation, heavy lifting of patients may be necessary.
