We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Truck Maintenance Specialist to join our fleet maintenance team at Sysco. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift gates, and light-duty vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair any issues or malfunctions in a safe, efficient, and quality manner, addressing Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) write-ups promptly and correctly.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and company methods for all equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school degree preferred.
  • Either 1 year experience with a 2-year technical degree or 3 years experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair required.
  • ASE Certification in Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty highly desirable.
  • Current and valid Drivers License, CDL-A Preferred.
