Emory Medical Laboratory is seeking a skilled Histotechnologist II to support our mission of providing high-quality, cost-effective laboratory services that enhance patient health.

• Perform routine and complex histologic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Accomplish tasks with precision and attention to detail, upholding the values of excellence, caring, and integrity.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tissue specimens for fixation, embedding, and sectioning.
• Perform quality control activities and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) with a minimum of two years' experience.
• Ability to obtain certification within 18 months of employment.
