We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiopulmonary diseases
- Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment
- Assess patients and interpret results accurately
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Communicate regularly with physicians and nurses about patient care plans and updates
- Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Current certification as Basic Life Support (BLS) provider
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for NICU RRT Staff
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU RRT staff
