Nutrition Therapist RoleAt Asbury Communities, we're seeking a skilled Nutrition Therapist to join our team. As a Nutrition Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to perform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents to address acute and chronic conditions. You will also educate residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians, and nurse practitioners to deliver appropriate individualized nutritional therapy. This includes therapeutic diets, oral nutrition supplements, and texture-modified diets. You will also monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis, and wounds. Furthermore, you will manage the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing nutrition counseling for individuals, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred in Dietetics or related field.
* Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential, required.
* State Dietitian licensure, required.
Preferred Qualifications
* 4 years of related experience.
* Familiarity with PointClickCare and MDS process, preferred.
