Job Summary

Arrow Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and echocardiography devices
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed representations of patient anatomy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
