As a Laundry and Uniform Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and integrity of Soldiers' uniforms and personal items. This position requires a unique blend of technical skills and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for setting up and operating mobile laundry facilities, repairing and altering uniforms, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mobile laundry systems, shower units, and associated equipment
- Repair and alter uniforms, including sewing, darning, and button replacement
- Manage and maintain inventory of uniforms and personal items
- Ensure compliance with Army regulations and standards for uniform cleanliness and maintenance
