Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Lafayette, Indiana.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Conduct ultrasound exams, taking note of any abnormalities or areas of concern
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and exam results
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification in Ultrasound Technology
  • 1+ year of experience in ultrasound imaging
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
