We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Clinical Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs, including discharge planning, addressing abuse/neglect, substance use disorders, end-of-life decisions, and providing bereavement support.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychosocial assessments and communicate with alternate sites of care and community agencies
Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations
Provide consultation and resources to the healthcare team and participate in department or hospital committees
Conduct group therapy sessions, perform utilization reviews, and provide discharge planning for inpatient psychiatric patients

Requirements:

Master's degree in social work
Experience in individual, family assessment, crisis intervention, grief and loss counseling, and discharge planning preferred
Michigan Social Work License. LMSW expected within 5 years of employment
