Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Next Level Business Services, Inc. as an Electrical Systems Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical equipment used in electrification systems, including battery chargers, inverters, and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical equipment, including battery chargers, inverters, and energy storage systems
  • Estimate time and cost to complete projects
  • Simulate and perform validation tests
  • Analyze data from validation tests and assets operating in the field
  • Develop schematics and drawings of test site setup
  • Complete reports for validation test results
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to create scope of work and review quotes and purchase orders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; electrical engineering degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience required; relevant projects may be considered in place of less work experience
  • Electrical knowledge in AC and DC systems, electrical distribution systems, and power electronics
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
  • Ability to perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications
  • Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
  • Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to the engineering field
