Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Surgeon to join our team as an Emergency Response Specialist. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will provide critical care to patients in need of immediate medical attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct trauma evaluations and perform exploratory surgeries, chest wall stabilizations, and other necessary procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care with other providers and address acute medical conditions, traumatic brain injury, burns, and other critical illnesses.
  • Provide preoperative, operative, and post-operative management of patient care.
  • Record and maintain patient information in accordance with standard protocols and the Privacy Act.

Requirements:

  • Board certification (or eligibility) through the American Board of Surgery, MD or DO.
  • Ability to obtain unrestricted medical license and hospital privileges.
  • Fellowship training in trauma, surgical critical care, or acute care surgery.
  • ATLS and ACLS certification.
  • Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as MS Office products.

Work Environment:

Due to the varied global health climate, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines may apply. Employees may potentially work in an environment supporting the medical response to an emergency health crisis.
