At Group SSI, we're looking for a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role offers a competitive salary of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply a systematic approach to design, architect, requirements elicitation, development, operation, and use of cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions
  • Develop and implement cloud strategy, architecture, and lead cultural change for cloud adoption and use
  • Work with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and authorizing officials' teams to ensure cloud meets security requirements
  • Provide expertise on cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to meet availability, scalability, performance, and security requirements
  • Support Cybersecurity Teams with technical information for new and maintenance of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages

Requirements

  • Tier 1 SCI clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, focusing on Cloud engineering projects in secure DoD environments
  • 3+ years of experience deploying enterprise applications in cloud platforms, preferably in AWS
  • IAT Level II certification
