Commercial Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Tesla. As an Electrician with our Self Perform Construction team, you will have the opportunity to work on all phases of commercial construction, performing new installations of power distribution, transformers, and lighting, temporary construction power and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC as part of a team with the entire Construction department.

1. Maintain and troubleshoot various types of electrical components, using complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan work scopes, install requested improvements, and correct problems.
2. Consult manuals, read and interpret diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics to complete tasks efficiently.
3. Display positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.
4. Work effectively with the team to ensure successful project completion.

• 5+ years of Electrician experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Proficient in using hand tools, electrical meters, and testing equipment.
• Must possess or be able to maintain a Journeyman card within 90 days.
• Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits, and utilizing NEC Code Book.
• Experienced in handling voltages from low to 480 VAC, with medium voltage experience as a plus.
• Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, drives, and electronic components.

The estimated salary range for this role is between $85,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
