Overview

  • With minimal oversight, conducts a range of diagnostic imaging procedures as per the directives of a licensed medical professional.
  • Utilizes expert judgment in delivering healthcare services, employing x-ray technology to aid in the diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age demographics, from infants to seniors.
  • Achieves established competencies for the role within the specified introductory timeframe.
  • Performs additional related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generates high-quality diagnostic images, engaging in advanced areas of diagnostic imaging including operating room procedures, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, and trauma assessments.
  • Supports the physician during fluoroscopy, arthrography, surgical procedures, and trauma interventions.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Completion of an accredited Imaging Program.

Preferred: Associate's degree.

Experience Requirements

Preferred: 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Certification Requirements

Mandatory: ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT certification within one year of graduation; BLS certification and state licensure if necessary.
