We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. This role is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.

Job Summary

This position involves performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities, including aiding with movement and placement of patients, assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, and reporting findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required
  • Nurse Aide preferred
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
Benefits

Ascension offers a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
