Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the senior LVN will provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations. You will also supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the physical and emotional needs of residents
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Providing medical care and treatment as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervising CNAs to ensure high-quality care is delivered
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid license to practice as an LVN in the state where you reside. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you must be able to maintain regular attendance and meet all local health regulations. A current BLS certification is also required.
