Job Description

As a key member of our maintenance team at NE Property Management, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our luxury apartment communities. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all aspects of our apartment communities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Supervise and train maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the overall quality of our properties.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including management and leasing, to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance, on-site multi-family property maintenance, or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience managing other technicians.
  • HVAC or EPA certified.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) desired.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) desired.
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician desired.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be available evenings, nights, weekends for staffing needs and emergencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day.
  • Able to move equipment and appliances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an attitude toward customer service.
