Position: Senior Angular Developer / Angular Lead

Location: Remote

Job Overview:

  • As a Senior Angular Developer Lead, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative web applications.
  • Proficiency in Angular versions 8 to 15 is essential.

Key Skills Required:

  • Expertise in HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Java and banking domain knowledge, particularly in balance sheet reporting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user-centric, responsive, and high-performance web applications utilizing the Angular framework.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to gather project requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Engage with UI/UX designers to transform design concepts into functional and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and compliance with architectural guidelines.
  • Optimize application performance and resolve any issues or bugs.
  • Create reusable components, modules, and libraries to improve development efficiency.
  • Implement and uphold unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliable and error-free code.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in Angular development and micro-frontend architecture, applying them to enhance our applications.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on the Angular framework.
  • Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and related web technologies.
  • Extensive experience in building complex enterprise-level Angular applications, with a deep understanding of Angular architecture, components, services, and routing.
  • Solid knowledge of reactive programming, including experience with RxJS and observables.
  • Proficient in using Angular CLI, npm, and other build tools for project setup and development workflows.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience integrating third-party libraries such as Angular Material, PrimeNG, Jqx Widgets, and ag-Grid to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and experience in building scalable and modular micro-frontend applications.
  • Knowledge of state management libraries and patterns, such as Redux and NgRx, for managing application state in large-scale Angular projects.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools like Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
